Title: Eisch - Germany
Post by: stevetheb on August 03, 2007, 07:50:59 AM
My Father has recently died, and for Probate purposes we're trying to value his mostly German Porcelain collection, two questions:

a) Is there a Porcelain equivalent to this forum? Mainly Kaiser porcelain?

b) Can anyone suggest a value for this set of 3 Eisch vases?  http://www.kammneves.co.uk/glass/eisch.jpg (http://www.kammneves.co.uk/glass/eisch.jpg)

Apologies for asking yet again

Steve

1. Sorry, no.
2. They look very much like the "Ferdinand von Poschinger" series from Poschinger: same size, same finish, same type of decoration - and in my 2000 price list these are quoted as 150 - 200 DM. So a set of three from a comparable maker would be around (scribble, scribble) 250-300 Euros, i.e. 180-200 UKPS - Sorry for the multiple wizzardry & no guarantee, of course.
