Marinka Bozzec and I are working on an article for the Glass Museum (http://www.glass.co.nz) on the subject of Glass Hand Vases (shaped like a hand holding a vase).
We are looking for help.
Does anyone have any interesting hand vases with either an identification label or makers mark and if possible information about who made it and where?
We'd be especially interested in any with a Murano label, any with a Czech label or makers mark, or any others that are unusual or interesting.
Thanks in advance,
Angela

:hi:
I enjoyed reading your and Marinka's study on Glass Hand Vases. I came across one last week that wasn't anything like the ones shown. It is cased glass with a crimped rim (reminded me of Fenton) but the beads are very high, right around the rim, as opposed to 1/3 of the way down as they are on most others. Any thoughts on who might have made this? Thanks in advance...gail
