Hi,
I know that there are several Chinese lampworked animals out there also called critter weights, such as this one http://tinypic.com/b6y2xz.jpg. (These were discussed in another thread but it got off topic :()
I know of three: lizard, octopus and crab. Two questions:
What other animals are there, and I am not talking butterflies/bummblebees etc above flowers ;D
And has anyone an idea from which factory they came....a long shot I know!
Kind regards,
KarelM

Most of these paperweights were made for the Cancer Research Shops to sell and there were quite a few, I have seen chickens, penguins, crabs, polar bears etc but I have no idea which factory made them or how many different types there are but you coulmd always try contacting the Cancer Research HQ and ask them

May favorite critter weights are the ones with frogs.
Though not precisely a critter weight I've also seen some with a lady bug sitting on the surface of the weight.

I've seen Ducks & Teddy Bears as well and have an example of each..

I have a lobster one, but not a clue about its origin, other than the fact that it is Chinese.

>:( I wonder if they make dolphins, that'd be ironic. :'(

They do, as a matter of fact.
I forget who posted it but there a query about a Chi magnum that contained both fish and dolphins.

I'd like to find a stag. I have never seen them except in flat lampwork or transfers.
