Title: Lightweight enamelled vases - what are they?
Post by: Quackers on August 18, 2007, 08:00:23 PM
Hi there, I have been the victim of a mixed lot at auction again ::)  While buying two Mdina vases and a lovely vase from Phoenician glass I got two very light enamelled vases, one blue the other blackish.  Both with fairly crude flowers on them and both with broken pontils.

Before I try and pass them on I would like to know what to describe them as, but I am well out of my depth here (they are certainly not Whitefriars!).  Can someone point me in the right direction please?
