Title: Cathy Need help with Aussie CG

Cathy or anyone else for that matter.
 I am trying to help out a fellow Aussie.
I am almost certain this is Australian Crown Crystal, but I can not find any info of pattern name etc. Can  anyone help please

Hi Julie,

Yes, this pattern is Quilted Diamond, from the classic Australian era (Crystal Glass before 1926, Crown Crystal after 26 and to circa 1930). It's one of two designs found on the underside of the Butterfly Bower bowls, but sometimes appears with a plain interior. It should be about 6.5" in diameter.

HI Cathy, thank you very much for that info. I could see in my  Ken Arnolds Book that it was one of the exterior patterns for the Butterfly Bower bowl, though it isn;t a veyr good pic.But he only mentioned the Broken Chains pattern, even though he says there were 2 patterns used.
 I am going to add that info to my book,  so I will know next time. Once again thank you for sharing your knowledge.
