Any help with identifying these recent buys would be greatly appreciated :)
#1. http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-8451
Pink frosted cat centrepiece which I have seen somewhere before and which, if memory serves me right, might be Czech. Any ideas please - and to date?
#2. http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-8452
Small hollow hand with star pattern on palm.
#3. http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-8450
A taller version of this solifleur vase is featured in Miller's Collectables 2005, p.339, but is not attributed to a maker.

Anyone recognise this maker's mark on the base of an engraved "specimen" bottle/bud vase please? I'm not sure if the letter is an R or P.
TIA ;)

Hi Anne
The solifleur, #3, I have with an Ingridglas label on. I have three of them in different shapes and sizes.
#4 looks like the Rosenthal 'R' with the crown above.

A BIG thanks Della :hiclp:  I've just checked Rosenthal in Ivo's book. I only looked under the letter P because that's what I thought it was - doh! According to the book, the etched crown with the letter R underneath, dates it to the 1950s.
So glad you had the solifleur with a label. It makes life easier ;D.
Two down, two to go.

Hi Anne,
jumping into it ::)
the arched cat reminds me of a blackened brass cat of Wiener Werkstaetten
Schlevogt and Hoffmann come to my mind, but I could not find it there - may be Riedel then? (we have not got a single Riedel catalogue...)
the hollow hand is a complete mystery to me I'm afraid
Good luck :)

Thanks Pamela for the leads for the cat (now called Archie) :). You are more than welcome to jump in any time ;D
I've just spotted an identical hand (described as a "ring caddy) for sale in the USA, but there is no attribution.
Seen here http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270162216852
Perhaps our American members might know who made it? :)

Hi Anne, :)
I'm interested to find out about this hand too, because I also have one. It's a cute item, & I do think it has some age to it...there are a fair few recently made hand shaped ring holders about but they tend to be in coloured glass (jadeite, ruby, & Depression type colours) & lacking a pressed pattern like this one.
Sorry I can't help with any I.Ds but I will watch with interest!

Any chance of bigger hand image?
-
Only image I have - perhaps Marinka can oblige :)

I found Marinka's Flicker page on Google with the hollow glass hand featured:
