I bought this one on a fleamarket on the German / Danish border last year, i don't have a clue who made it, can anyone please help?

I bought it in Germany, in Flensburg near the Danish order 8)

I had this ID today, it seems it was made in a town called Lägerdorf (not Lager...Hic) Laegerdorf.......there was a glass factory there, and they only made pieces in blue.... 8)

a/ how did you find out and b/ there is a local Heimatmuseum who would kill for it - if the claim can be substantiated...

Hi Ivo
Im working on it, if you go to the local old dykes around the area, there are many bottles, vases, and glass dumps within them, my buddy, is authorised to dig in these.... he also knows a little old lady who worked there, so we are going through the records a Itzehoe (local big town) to see if we can find the planning application for the factory, i will come back on that point soon i hope....as far as i know, the only museum local to this village is in Itzehoe, I am also checking at the next larger town of Elmshorn, as there may be a tie up with Elmshorn Fayencen factory (Carstens Group related to KMK), so these are yet again another port of call......its amazing what you can find out when your researching a book......Kevin 8)

are you jumping to conclusions based on a colour? The item you have there is mould blown and has a shape that says "sixties or seventies" - not the type you find in digs. Also, if this was a glass factory which has been active until recent it should be on record...
There is no mention in http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/L%C3%A4gerdorf but they do mention a Heimatmuseum.
good luck, keep us posted.
