Title: Millefiore dish would like id if possible
Post by: Pat on September 15, 2007, 01:11:41 PM
I got this dish recently along with some Whitefriars. It' s a shallow dish with millefiore in it. In fact could even be used as a paperweight I suppose. What I would like to know is where it came from eg Italy or UK if possible. Thanks in advance. The bottom is flat with broken off pontil and you can't see the canes through the bottom.
ps. Although pics marked ebay it's just the folder I save them in, they are mine.

Correct, could be either.

Note question mark on Strathearn, I have not heard of one with a seal or label, but there is a good chance they exist. Strathearn developed a more modern styles of dish. http://www.ysartglass.com/Strathearn/StrST001.htm
