thanks Allan

You are not thick, Allan, just new to a place (as we all were, once).
From the index page: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php
There you will see a forum called "Glass" Click on "Glass" and then a page will appear with lots of topics, click on "new topic" (as you did here in the cafe) and post your enquiry (as you did here). ;)

Thank you Anne

Hi Allan and welcome to the board. I've moved both your posts over from Cafe to Glass for you. You shouldn't have any problem posting into Glass, but you won't be able to post into the forum below Glass called Unresolved Glass Questions, as that one is for long-standing puzzles that we move out of Glass for those who like mystery solving. You can only post replies to existing topics in Unresolved. Does that help at all? If you get stuck just ask for help and one of the Moderators will assist, or email me directly as before.

Thank you Angel xx

Allan - I once had something very similar to your vase - the only difference I can see is that mine had clear glass handles to the top part. Mine was identified as probably by Alrose (Italy) - it might be worth you looking in that direction.

Ok thanks for the info Pip
