Pat, the top one is one of the many made showing the crests/badges of different bits of the armed forces. I have a maroon background Lancashire Fusiliers one, and Mum has an blue background RAF one, in the same size as yours, and I've seen them with all different badges on and in different colours. I suspect (though do not know for sure) that they were sold via the NAAFI - perhaps one of our ex-services people could confirm?  I've also seen them with different county police authority badges. No idea if they are Chance or not but there are usually several on eBay at any one time and they seem to always sell.

The bottom one looks similar to one Mum has (hers is a 6" square one) showing a map with a pointer and business name - most likely produced as a promo giveaway for the company concerned. Again, no idea if they are Chance, but David may well know more about them.

Anne is right - Service dishes are often seen. However, they can be quite collectable and are always of particular interest to anyone serving in the forces. Difficult to say if they were made by Chance, but quite possibly.

The map dish I would need to see first-hand. Georama is known to have produced some and they were popular in the late-1950s/early-1960s, however, the company name is normally visible.

One I have will feature in the book, which looks remarkably similar (also 4½-in) but this does clearly state in tiny print: COPYRIGHT GEORAMA LTD LONDON in the bottom-left corner.

The map one has no mention of Georama but looking at your pic mine seems identical in shape and form.

Yes, but this can be deceptive... Probably one of three makers: Chance Georama or Webb, although I would favour Georama.
