Hi Frank here is another piece of Utility Glass, afterall if i have a talent then why not use it......another 60s style glass lamp shade, which no one has a hope in heaven of indentifying, let alone finding the maker, but for a brief moment will be gazed upon by a few souls. 8)
Enjoy...... 8)

Ah well, that is not completely true as some are recognised by designers and one or two brands are highly sought after. The largest market being people redecorating in a period style. When I ran my junk shop which specialised in lighting (before I got into glass) the fashion was only for Victorian and Edwardian lighting, a few freaks were getting into Art Deco but mostly it was seen as poor quality. How times change.

One example being Wilhelm Wagenfeld for Peill & Putzler, c.1952. For the company he designed a series of sconces and pendants loosely in this ilk with printed (and also sandblasted) designs.
