Title: Pink tumbler - murano or Walsh Walsh?

Bernard - this is the tumbler I was talking to you about at Cambridge -  I really can't make up my mind if it is like your pink Murano (what is the name again of that type of glass please?? ) or Walsh Walsh.  I thought it was lighter and thinner than it is , but the only WW I saw at Cambridge in this kind of glass was blue.  Was it made in Pink as well?

It stands 4.5 ins tall, 120 mm, foot is a separate piece, central sharp pontil. The iridescence appears to be a coating rather than within the glass it seems to be on the underside of the main goblet as well as the foot, so that it appears deeper when looking at the underside, as you are looking at two layers of iridescence (if you get my drift...)

I like it very much - I have a set of four.

Lynne — Venetian, not surprisingly, and now not attributable to any specific manufacturer, according to Dr. Rosa Barovier.

My knowledge is limited in respect of this type of glass, and I would not like to even suggest possibilities just from photographs.  I would be hesitant in narrowing down your source to just Walsh or Murano without seeing these pieces for myself.

Please keep your questions more open.   I had considered not replying at all.
