Hi
Can anyone please tell me what this was used for? It is made in France has Houbigant on the base, my first thought was that it was a kerosene lampbase....but i dont really know....Kev 8)

Houbigant is a Parisian parfumier. Is it small enough for a perfume bottle?

Hi Christine
Its 14.5cms tall so just under 6 inches, it is oval, so that would be quite large for a scent bottle....Kev 8)

Would work for bath oil or similar though

That probably depended on who was making their bottle for them at any given time - bottle makers seem to be 10 a centime
