Holmegaard dish
-
From the 'Multi-Skåle' range, designed by Sidse Werner, c.1985.

Thankyou Nic, found it recently in a trodelmarkt.... 8)

These later (post-1970) pressed pieces seem to turn up quite frequently in the UK at carboots and in charity shops. I've managed to pick up quite a few Sidse Werner and Torben Jørgensen designs of this ilk for literally a few pennies in some cases. It's just a shame that they have little/no resale value! ;D

Is that blue just an artefact of photography? Is it clear?
-
That threw me at first when I saw the photograph - but it should be clear. Most of Holmegaard's clear crystal after c.1975 and until c.1990 does have a distinct blue hue to it when you catch it at a certain angle.

It looks clear, but every photograph i took of it, it appears blue......
