Title: Small Eye Bath

This is a small eye bath 6cms tall, 4cms wide pressed with British made on the base.  Base pic added for Frank

Hi Bernard

This eyebath and all the old glass bottles etc i have previously posted, came out of a old household rubbish dump, that was excavated to provide and extension to my Fathers cottage on Exmoor, North Devon.  Kev  8)

Kevin — Browsing around the excellent http://www.eyebaths.com it could be Waterstones, apparently glassmakers who left Wood Bros to set up on their own, but the lettering on yours is rather larger, and so may be one of the unattributed ranges on this website.   Not Wood Bros, although the lettering font is similar.

It's difficult to guess a glassworks, as possibilities must number well over a dozen, and include pressed tableware and ornamental ware works like Greener/Jobling and Sowerby together with barware and bottle works.   Notice how the colours tend to be bottle colours.

Please use and keep to the website's reference numbers to avoid confusion.

Bernard has it nailed.
But I always attribute this style/design and with BRITISH MADE to Waterstones. There are at least two ever so slightly different stem styles and a range of differences in marks (different numbers in the centre of the base, etc).
