This signature looks to me like it could be David Wall (of Tamar Glass). What does anyone else think please? Is the bowl typical of his work?
TIA ;)
-
Well it looks as though it says David Wall to me, Anne. I can't confirm or deny as to whether it is typical of his work, as I am not familiar with it.
David E. does have a piece of his work on his website, but he doesn't show the signature. Hopefully, he can help ;) ;D

You're going bonkers ;D I saw Anne's post not long after it went up, then I saw Della's but nothing from you

I'll get me WHITE coat :chky: the one with the handy strap's.

The David Wall piece:
If I can find it, I'll try and photo the signature, but it is very faint.
-
The photo is very vague and the sig comes out rather indistinct and faint - I've sent it onto Anne anyway. But there are similarities to the signature on the base of my vase to Anne's. David Wall be contacted, it appears:
David Wall. Design-led, hand-blown, mostly functional glassware, from jugs & vases to scent-bottles, with strong forms & vivid use of colour, sometimes frosted. Also one-off sculptural pieces & lighting

Thanks Della 8). Always good to have a second opinion.
Thanks too David for the image ;D. I've compared them both and they are the same. Its quite a delicate piece, so may be its an early effort. I'll see what else I can find out but don't hold your breath about any book :o ;D I don't know enough words to write a book ;D

I don't know enough words to write a book
With 870+ posts, you have already written a book - I reckon if you just collect all your posts and images you would have the makings of an interesting book "The taste of Anne" ;)

Another example, 12cm tall tumbler with coloured frit and 'light' crackle, signature on base.
