If anyone has any details on this person, pictures or example of his work etc, very interested in hearing.

I am aware of the diorama in Broadfield house and the poster in Newcastle, (thanks to Glass Cone. 1988)

Born in France. Died in Wolverhampton. Charles David Aubin (possibly St. Aubin)

son Charles Aubin Locksmith won a prize at Great Exhibition. http://www.localhistory.scit.wlv.ac.uk/Museum/locks/gazetteer/aubin.htm
