Title: Smithsonian doves
Post by: uphoosier on December 07, 2007, 07:20:13 PM
I have a pair of the Murano glass doves sold on Smithsonian.com  Anybody know who made them?  I can post a link, but I wasn't sure if that was OK since it is a commercial site.  Thanks for any info.

if you check the smithsonian store website and search for "murano dove" you'll find pieces very, very similar to these (perhaps made a few years apart?). i'm afraid i don't know who made the, though i'm pretty certain they are newer pieces. lovely birds :) thanks for sharing :)

Thanks for the replies.  The lady who bought these has an identical pair in blue she bought from the Smithsonian store.  She doesn't know who made tham, either.
