:mus: Gallery closed this year, their history of exhibitions

How long will that site remain? Can the Glass-Study preserve it... we shall see.

Hi Frank,
Just a thought.........
Do you need to save the site, or the glass info?
Whilst artizana have been a significant gallery serving the south of Manchester and the North West,
unless you are selective, you might well find yourself getting bogged down.
Personally I'd consider asking for the relevant catalogues and images, to use for the Glass Study, and include a short resume about the gallery.
jmho,
Regards,
Marcus

It makes sense to just store the whole site for now, asking for any supporting material. Once funds are available it would be hosted as a standalone. No intention of reprocessing such sites but management would be active and not anonymous.

Contact them and ask Frank, the worst they can do is say no. ;)

It depends on funding.

Outstanding gallery, very high quality. Lovely people. One of the few important galleries left who were going in the 80's.
I expect the reason for closure is retirement. After 25 successful years, why not?
I think they probably have some very important archived material which is worth saving if you have the time and inclination, Frank.
