Hi, I have this vase. I call it like a splatter vase. Is it anything? It does have a curved ground bottom. In the base photo it looks irregular but that it is just the reflection, as it is perfectly round. Sorry for the quality of the pixs.
Whatever it is...be it good comments, or not :spls:

I had something very similar to this in green (of course ::) ) recently, which was clearly cheaply made, moulded and probably Chinese. However yours seems to have what looks like a ground-out pontil mark! Unless it's moulded that way to look as if it has! Which is it, do you think?

I have the original, and you have a copy of mine but in green....lol. Just kidding.
I have no idea. Maybe if at :st: I get a better camera, I could try to re-post then with a better pic, and maybe you will be able to tell better by the ground-out pontil mark. Do not let me forget to do this, and IF I do forget....just give this a polite re-bump to remind me to retake a photo to post....then maybe it can be solved.
Do not let me forget... ;)

I am looking at it right now. i see no seams, or anything. It is quite heavy, and on the bottom where it is grounded out, there appears to a slight mark like where a pontil mark was, and they did not ground it out quite deep enough. Hard to see that in the base photos of mine. I do not know for weight but it feels like maybe about 2.0 - 2.5 pounds - as like I said, it has some weight to it ? That is just a guess, as I am only casting an opinion by feel...but there is weight to it...
Added/Modified: Can you post your pix?

:-[ I dug out the pic (I no longer have the vase) and I see that mine was only very superficially similar to yours, Rose. Sorry :-[ ::)
