Is this Scandinavian or just modern rubbish?
Any ideas please?

I have something similar, but in green. I think Marcus told me it might be Czech. If you have time to change the title of this topic to include 'Czech?' this might help.
But the lilac tinge is quite alluring - does the glass change colour between daylight and fluorescent lighting? If so, this could be Neodymium glass - see:

This might link it to one of the Czech factories. Possibly Moser?

It's ZBS again.

Thanks David for the information.
l don't want to reply until l check the colour of the vase in daylight and fluorescent lighting. The answer is Yes.
It does change colour from lilac to light blue as mentioned in the article. Now l know it is Neodymium glass.
From the article is that meant it is rare or just rare if it is old?

Hi Ming,
As Ivo says, ZBS, but definitely not rare. Zelezno Brodske Sklo still make this type of glass, and have been a high-volume producer for many years, so masses of these items are available, particularly on eBay where they often sell for less than a "fiver". Only sommerso-style vases in multiple colours seem to fetch more.
Regards,
Marcus

Neodymium is a curiosity more than anything - some people will actively seek out this type of glass. But as Marcus said, it is no indication of rarity.
