I haven't posted before and am not sure I have given the right pic refs. These are two green bubble glass vases? they are hand-blown and also a damson coloured bowl/vase with swirls which I feel may be around 1930 perhaps. I have tried to identify them on internet but with no success and hope someone may know something please? Thank you, Jenny

Welcome to the GMB.
The purple bowl is Davidson Cloud (see www.cloudglass.com), and I believe the two goblets might be St. Albans.
If you can provide the diameter of the bowl, this would help closer identification.

Hi David. Thank you very much for your very quick response. It is 10 inches (25 cms) diameter.

Purple cloud bowl looks to be a S/696 D, see:
http://www.cloudglass.com/flower3.htm (shown in orange)
This was a 3-piece flower set, which comprised a plinth and flower dome (frog), but it is not unusual to find them without either.
If you go to the Glass Gallery (for exclusive use to GMB members) you will see the same style St. Alban (assumed) goblet that I posted:

WoW!! :hiclp:
Many thanks - when you know as little as I do about glass it takes hours to search and so often I give up without achieving anything, apart from eyestrain and a massive headache! I was advised to go to GMB and became a member some time ago, my limited computer skills have meant I have only recently found out how to send my pics to the web! Thanks again, Jenny

You can always use the [free] Glass Gallery for your glass photos:

As for finding other glassie sites, there are quite a few listed here:

Hi David.
I tried to upload pictures into a gallery, but my pictures were too big! I looked up other messages from people who had the same problem and saw about resizing so downloaded the 'resizer', back to feeling ignorant again as I don't know how to get it to do the work. Presumably in my computer somewhere but how to link pics with it and do the business , CLUELESS!! Would it be ok to continue loading to the place I did originally? Or perhaps this a no no. I don't want to upset anyone. Thank you for any help to can give me to put me on the path to success. From dopey!

Jenny, if you want to email me the pics I'll resize them and upload them for you. Email address is to the left of this post - click the little envelope icon to email me.
