Title: Marbled Glass Acorn Vase
Post by: TxSilver on January 09, 2008, 09:16:20 PM
Can anyone help me identify this beautiful vase? When I bought it, I thought it might be Webb or Bohemian glass. I have since found some Bristol vases that look similar to my vase, but don't have the marbled finish. The vase is marbled outside and white inside. It has pink fired enamel oak leaves and acorns with gold gilding that has worn with age. TIA!

I would guess probably Bohemian, early 20th C, possibly late 19th

Thanks for looking. I forgot to mention the vase is about 10.5" tall and has a ground, unpolished rim. It would be nice if it is 19th Century Bohemian. The ring at the base of the neck makes me think maybe it is English. Some of the glass often looks so similar between the two countries during this time.
