Title: Glass with a large bubble in base
Post by: antiquerose123 on January 14, 2008, 04:47:33 AM
Hi.  I bought this at a flea market.  It is about 10 inches high....maybe a vase, I guess.  Anyways it has a large bubble in the bottom, and where the bubble is, there is actually a hole.  I tried to take a photo of this, but it did not turn out good.

(I guess I will post that pix anyhow...of the very bottom hole)

Any ideas on this? Thanking in advance

Rose, there are several different shapes of these bubble-based vases and they are made by various firms from Scandinavia, Poland and China that we know of so far.

Have a read through the earlier threads below: (note that some of the pics have now gone though.)
