Title: Glass bowl with fish? handles.
Post by: mrs vulture on January 18, 2008, 06:50:56 PM

Hi, I bought this rather interesting (I think so!!) bowl from a local charity shop, it has a slight yellow tinge to the glass and is in superb condition. It is quite large being 15-1/2" from handle to handle, 10" wide and 5-1/4" tall. It weighs over 5lbs. I've been trawling the net to find out about it ,I've found similar but smaller and with no pattern in the base by Brockwitz, can anyone confirm mine is a Brockwitz as I know nothing about this make apart from its German. Any info would be very welcome. thanks Cheryl.

Hi Mrs. Vulture.  Your bowl is Brockwitz and has been covered in a previous thread.  I'm unable to put the link, but if you click on Search and type in "Brockwitz fish handle bowl - Fritz Scheiner ?"  it will bring up the thread.  ;)
