HI -- Have this, anyone have an age on it, etc? Cap top says "DeVILBISS - WINDSOR, ONT." (Canada)
Thanks

DeVilbiss was also known for making airbrushes (for artwork) and I do have one, somewhere. But this looks like 1960s going by the box alone.

The name is well known among perfume collectors. It seems that they were the makers of the atomizers rather than the glass. Started 1888 in Ohio. History http://www.itwfinishing.com/history/devilbiss.asp

Harvey Littelton used to collect DeVilbiss and had quite a large collection. I once heard him lecture on it. I have a feeling he produced a catalogue. I think it might have been in a box of stuff that I let Marcus sift through, so I don't know whether it is still there or whether I gave it to Marcus!! Or maybe it is somewhere else! I don't hold out much hope of finding it either way but I'll see if I can dig it out.

Well, it turns out my memory isn't that bad.....it's about 20 years since the name came up!

I wonder if I can find the actual catalogue now?! ;D
