Hi, I just got this today, and know nothing about it (Bad, or Good). I just liked the way it looked, the cobalt blue, the swirls, the iridescence of it. The label (posted here)......I guess, best speaks for itself.
I did do a search of iRice before I posted this here, and came up with this thread. Not sure IF the two are revelent: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,6987.msg59375.html#msg59375
Thanks in advance.

Irice imported from several different countries. Unfortunately, the part of the label that would tell where yours is from is missing. I would guess Eastern Europe, but that's just a guess.

Rose what are the initials before Rice & Co. Inc. I.W. ? I.Rice, note the space or . would appear to be the brand name used.

Yes, Lustrousstone...it looks to me that the initials are I.W.-- then Rice, and it as says NY NY on it..but the part of the label is missing....so I guess I need to hunt down labels to see if we can figure out....
The label (just looked here under regular houselight) -- is a Gold Foil color, with the writing in EITHER black ink.....(??) or a really Dark NAVY blue...really hard to tell. I think black -- BUT then it does look like it could be a really Dark, Dark Navy too by *EYE*.
I will look again in daylight........BUT not daylight here yet.......lol.

Been *googling* here looking for something similar as for label...so far nothing.
But did find this: http://www.rubylane.com/shops/bagladyboutique/item/3024 (???)
Suppose this like the Italian bottle I had ? (Made in Italy) but imported for Canada.......this label a possibility (again)?

IW Rice & Co. of New York seems to be an importer of perfumery and cosmetic type items from all over the world using the I RICE brand for them. Some items are marked Japan, but others are unmarked re country of origin. So we may never know.

Ahhh Rats - lol.....
I tried googling for IRice: gold label, scalloped label, oval label, IRice, I.Rice, I-Rice, iRice, import labels, etc....but did not get much. I do not know how to be more selective in the search....I was hoping to even just find the same shape....surely to God there must be another label out there in GOOGLE WORLD.
I have faith someone will find something. Eg. Sue C found something for me (in PB world) that I did not even stumble upon....so I have faith that maybe someone will find a similiar label like this........cuz I know that you are all *talented glass people* here. ;)

*polite bump*
Hi, I was reading through some things, and just noted this topic about I-Rice also: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,1749.120.html (( Reply #124 )) where it shows an I-Rice label stating "Made in Italy," on perfume bottle, maybe made by L. Gaspari for Salviati.
Since the best part of my label is missing (rats), and even though the label shape on my perfume is a different than the one in the link here.....Does anyone have any other ideas about this I-Rice Perfume bottle of mine? Thought I would just test the waters....
TIA.

~ Bump From 2008 ~
I happen to stubble upon this item here (see figure 14 HERE) (http://www.auntjudysattic.com/made_in_Czechoslovakia.htm) that says "IRice - Made in Czechoslovakia" I just thought that was interesting so I wanted to add here. Not that it has anything to do with the Glass item here -- but more so that IRice and Czech Glass have a connection.
So I hope that is interesting, or worthy info.... :-\ or not ???
