Title: Victorian Milk Glass jug, in metal holder , any ideas?
Post by: Andy on February 15, 2008, 03:47:52 PM
Another, from bottom of a cupboard, id forgotten about, came from my Grandparents.
A little milk glass jug, in a metal holder. Glass has polished flat base, comes out of the
silver plated( i think) holder. Must be 100 years old, not opalescent or reactive to black light.

Any ideas welcome ;D

Thanks
Andy

Hi Sue,
just had a good look, no makers markings, no hallmarkss, im sure its plate.
The fruit around the top of the jug are Strawberries :D So i think it must be a cream jug!
