Hi,

It is not by Davidson. I do not know who made it I'm afraid.

Regards

Chris

Thank You Chris,
Back to the drawing board I guess.

Would a moderator change the heading for this one please? I guess 'Davidson' needs to be taken out of the title.

Many thanks

Hil  :)

Thank you Sue - been trawling the fostoria sites - not found anything like it yet.

Christine - here is a photo of the base

The vase is 6 1/2 inches tall and 5 inches diameter across the top

Many thanks

I wondered whether it was Brockwitz. Pamela has a milk and sugar set in a similar thick red glass http://www.pressglas-pavillon.de/milch+zucker/06479.jpg (http://www.pressglas-pavillon.de/milch+zucker/06479.jpg) that I spotted while enjoying a trawl last night. I would say its older than yours but red isn't very common. It might be worth scrolling through her Brockwitz pages

Thank you Christine, I have looked through Pamela's site and cannot find anything similar, except for the colour as you pointed out.
I would appreciate any more thoughts with this one.
Many thanks.
