Title: HOVMANTORP sculpture/slab

Hello,

I have just bought (probably over the odds again!!) this hovmantorp glass sculpture/slab. I have looked in my books and do not seem to be able to find anything similar. Could anyone shed anymore information on the piece please? I didn’t associate Strand with Hovmanthorp.

The item in a delightful bottle green colour measures 8 inches in length & 5 inches in height. The engraving reads    HOVMANTHORP SWEDEN  S.D. 141 R STRAND

The signature is Rune Strand (1924-200) the piece is very similar to the work Vicke Lindstrand did with Kosta in the 70s (they worked together there)
