Just popped into charity shop and saw these stunning items covered in wax and dust, i could
see they had a nice opalescence to them and have Made in France on the base, cleaned up,
they are really pretty ;D Moulded.
Some one must have some ideas on these, the writing of 'France' reminds me of 1930s
Sabino or Lalique in style. (I dont think quality is up to Lalique though :( )

Are you sure it does not a Foreign or made in Hong Kong on them ;D
I think i saw them & was not keen

private joke :D Dave (the glass) is an old friend of mine from the age of 5!!
and he always beats me to the good bits of glass in the local Charity shops!
Hes had a problem logging on, with the AOL thing, so hes tried again with a different
computer thingy!
All ideas on these pretty items, are very welcome ;D

its not my field, and id never heard of Portieux , but googling the web, I think you may be right :clap:
Theres a lot of it about, blue milk glass, mine seems to be a bit more opalescent than most ive
just found, and is clear towards the edges, but it seems very very close, i shall do
some more searching ;)
