Title: Chance Torrefleur
Post by: Sue C on March 06, 2008, 01:39:29 PM
I found this 9.5in Torrefleur ruffled dish with labe, which i am sure reads Chance Glass, a member of the Pilkington group.
Really funky  ;D

This design, Columbine and Lotus are all part of the early 1970s designs when Chance was trying to appeal to a younger buyer. Sadly, it didn't quite achieve this and reverted to the more mainstream floral patterns.

The label is the later Chance one. A good find - these don't crop up very often :)
