These type of fish are seen from many countries, including Romania and other Eastern European countries. Murano is a too easy tag to apply.
I'm sure Ivo could provide a comprehensive list, but what may help identify them is the differences in tail and dorsal fins, the eyes, and other applied bits and bobs.

The fish of this type in the Zoo with clear tails and fins include Nazeing, Mdina and Whitefriars, although this is probably none of those.
-
I have seen one in this style on FleaBay with a Romanian label, but there are so many generic ones around, who knows...
-
More identified ones in the Zoo will eventually help....
-
Although I have a few, none are labelled! :(

Hi Frank & David,
Thanks for the info, nice to know, but am afraid it looks like it's staying where it is on the shelf when i move in next couple of wk's as not keen on it, that is of cause if they dont want it back, which to be honest think they were relieved to just drop it off, think they are an aquired taste, vinegar no salt, bread crumbs not batter,
