Hi Steve, how about a divided dish? :) These are made by various firms - yours could be Arcoroc (search it for FRANCE in tiny letters) or someone like Popasnaja in the Ukraine - basically I think they are mass-produced utility ware - jolly useful at parties (keep it for the housewarming when you move.)
-
I think it might what the Americans call a chip and dip dish

Anne & Christine.
Thank you for the info and it will be filled with nut and chip sticks as you say for the house warming, just ib time for august by the time we have finished the decor, and the garden i dare say, my power tools are goin to get some use thats for sure,

I found this today which seems the same as the what i call the pea nut bowl ;D it is still in its box saying VEROPA made in France, floride relish tray 3cpts, so i resume the other piece above is of the same stable would you say,

that is from BSN, the French packaging industry part of Danone.

The Ivo note is correct.
The brand was Vereco, which was actually the bsn glass company.
Just to say....France mark could be also Duralex, Luminarc, Arcoroc that is a brand of Luminarc, or Vereco. For some years Vereco was merged with Covetro by Bormioli....with the brand of Verecovetro.
Sadly Vereco plant closed in 2003.

BSN is on the package underneath the logo.
