Title: Flame stopper perfume bottle
Post by: Lustrousstone on March 09, 2008, 04:09:22 PM
I suspect it might be Murano, but there again... I did find a boxed similar one with a plain coloured flame - fleabay 300203828304. It's certainly not old, although it is pretty and nicely made. Anyone got any thoughts please

Hi Christine,
i did see a range of similar bottles (deco style) to this in one of the charity shops , and a month or 2 ago, i
saw a selection of similar stoppers (new) , I remember thinking , what a great idea if you had a nice bottle,
lacking a stopper, they were in all sorts of colours, with flecks of gold, twisted, Murano style ,
Im sure this is one of them.

Regards
Andy :)

(I remember the stoppers were shaped so that they would fit a range of neck sizes, wide at the top,
thin at the end)
