I've been informed that these are in fact 'Ring' bowls designed by William Stenberg in 1933 for Gullaskruf. Can anyone confirm please either way. Hopefully Raoul will look in. I checked his fab Gullaskruf website to compare mine with the one shown there, but I'm having a little wobble of doubt now as the bases of mine are round and the Gullaskruf one looks like it may be oval
I was able to definitately ID my red 'Randi' bowl from Raoul's site. ;D
TIA :)

Just to throw another one into the mix, any thoughts on this three sided version of a ring bowl? It has the same 3 rings, base, colour and height.
Hopefully someone can throw a little light on the previous ring bowl and this one too.
TIA ;)

I think I remember seeing a similar one on this board with a Davidsons or Sowerby label on it. Or was that something else?

Is this the one you were thinking of? http://www.cloudglass.com/Gallerypostwar.htm Scroll down half-way to 'triangular dish' pat.no.530 in ruby. I can't make out whether that particular one is ringed/stepped or has smooth sides

Not sure, it was a long time ago, more than 3 years ago. :-[

Well Anne, the red little bowl is for sure Ring designed by William Stenberg 1933-39, Gullaskrufs glasbruk.

Thank you for the confirmation Raoul ;)
