Here's another glass Viking. It's 10cm tall.
http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-9757
Doesn't match the Pukeberg, Lindshammar or Skruf figures that feature in previous listings.
Any ideas??
It was bought in Switzerland, but could easily be Scandi.
Thanks,
Chris

Ivo can confirm for sure, but I think there were four different Pukeberg Viking figures. It does look a little like a Pookie...
-
as this one is cast rather than pressed I would not think of Pukeberg - more the style of Reijmyre or Nybro. But I've not seen this trolley dolley before, it really could be anything.
-
Trolley dolly??
As I recall, that's the less-than-politically correct label they gave the judies that worked as conductors on the old London Transport trolley buses! Have heard it more recently as a term of abuse for airline cabin crew, however...
There's a Swiss company that specialises in cast glass - Hergiswil Glas from near Luzern
http://www.glasi.ch/
They make some nice stuff, but I can't imagine them churning out Vikings...
-
sorry for the confusion i meant troll doll of course.
I estimate the chance that Hergiswill made viking figurines 0,0001 %.
-
Ah, of course!
My inability to imagine Swiss Vikings equates to around 0.0001% probability, too (English understatement).
Thanks for the input, lads.

His name is Magnus from Norway via Cornwall, made by Magnor. I have one with a label ;D
