Title: Signed art glass bowl
Post by: Paul ADK on April 15, 2008, 02:53:26 AM
Does the name "Ehgebret" ring a bell with anyone?  I may have asked this question in the past, but I was able to get a much better look at the signature this evening by lighting from the inside.  The full name appears to be "Ehgebret Joy" although I am less confident of the second name.  The bowl does have wear consistant with something that has been around a few years.

Thanks
Paul ADK

Sue, closer examination shows that the name on our vase is in fact almost certainly Engebretson.  The manufacturing technique on our piece does not however conform to the current production described on the Engebretson web site (no interior sandblasting etc.).  I do not know if I will receive a response, but I will contact the Engebretson's to see if is something they recognize.

Thanks again, I certainly appreciate the lead.
