Title: Pressed Vase (British ?)
Post by: Gilead on April 16, 2008, 11:17:44 PM
Hi
can anyone tell me if this pressed vase is British or not, and if so is it Davidson/Sowerby or maybe Webb? have looked though I E P G. from front to back over and over and an find this pattern this stands 6ins high open top 4ins as some wear on the base for age.

The star looks like the star of David. i have an old brink some where with a simular pattern on it.

I believe you have Prescut Oatmeal & Pineapple Pattern made by the Anchor Hocking Glass Co 1941-1970 USA
Bottom is consistent with anchor hocking glass.

Here we go again I think the star on your brick is a Masonic Star. Nothing to do with any glass but with Masonic Lodges.
