Well that certainly is very interesting, but I am afraid I can't help much on this one. Terry

Hi
I have looked through various Walther catalogues from 1936 to 1965 and as as expected I did not find it there. I can see why some may consider it is Walther but for reasons that I cant quite explain it is in many ways quite unlike the Walther images..... yours are a bit freer in their movement..... it brings to mind a painting by Franz Von Stuck called Springtime Dance... and a couple of others.. which I'm afraid the gnawing of tempus fugit has obscured the titles of.
The style and the subject looks 1920's/30's but could also be post ww11 judging by the finish of the glass........ Unfortunately therefore still a mystery.

The figures and their sweeping movements are more like those on Rindskopf's Classic Arts items (Carnival) from the 1920s. However, I am not aware of plaques by them - nor can I see anything like that in the Rindskopf catalogues that I have.

It reminds me a bit of Consolidated Glass and the work of Reuben Haley but I've been unable to find anything quite like it...

Blair, your original Tinypic has gone. Do you still have a copy please, if so can you add it back onto the board for reference? Many thanks. :)
