Title: Small paperweight vase?
Post by: Dave the Glass on April 29, 2008, 07:18:47 PM
Hi people
Got this today it is 6 inches tall about 2 at the base. it is a bud vase, very heavy dark blue with a flower pattern running through it. The white flowers look like paperweight canes & have real depth to them as do the green ferns. The base has been roughy cut off. i have put 4 photos up.
Any ideas?

Dave just popped in for a cup of tea, with this nice little object,
it has a 4 quarter pontil, similar to some London art glass, and the white flowers
are cased in clear glass, it reminds me of Siddy Langley,
I took a couple of photos, it appears also to have some age to it, and a few knocks and scratches,
but a nice piece to have on the shelf.
Any suggestions?

Hello.
This is an Okra Perfume Bottle from the mid 80's.
Allot of these went missing and often turn up now in auctions with either Loetz or Tiffany scratched on the base.
You should also have an acorn shaped stopper with it.

Thanks for the info, all i need now is a stopper ;D, still it makes a nice little vase. Not bad for £3.99.
