Looking through Hajdamachs book, it strikes me theres similarities in the shape to the
August Bohm vase,

Maybe mine could be Bohemian, mid 19th Century?
(probably not worth 64k though :'( )

You've got some nice old cut glass, Andy! It's tough to find work as old over here in the New World.
I would expect the foot of a Bohemian goblet of the time to be either flat or cut with some kind of pattern. I also think it was more common to have flat facets, rather than flutes like you have. My guess is it's English, but that's just a guess. You didn't mention the size - it must be pretty big, eh?

Hi Kristi,
forgot the trusty tennis ball as a size comparison.
No, its not that big, just 6 1/8" tall, 3 1/2inches across top, 3 1/4 inches wid base.
I suppose you would drink from it. Maybe it could be called a Chalice?
Also , quite interesting, ive never spent ages looking at it closely before,
but it must be all cut from one piece of glass! From top to bottom, nothings
attached, not the foot, not the collar around the base of bowl,
there must be hours and hours of work in it :o
Maybe thats a clue?
