The piece pictured is 11 inches tall (28 cm). The 'diamond' pattern, which is actually concave) I believe was molded with the neck and bottom of the base hand cut. There is quite a bit of wear on the bottom. The handle is three ropes of glass twisted.
I've been unable to attribute this piece to an American maker and am wondering if it has any characteristics that would lean toward a European origin.
Thanks.

The diamonds on the body are concave?! I didn't know that! (I've seen Karen's jug before) And they're molded? How can you tell - by how if feels/looks on the inside?

The neck is too narrow to be able to feel the inside surface. Using a wood chop stick I sensed it was not smooth, more so at the wider portions of the piece. Would that point to 'mold blown' perhaps?
I stuck the chop stick tip in the concavity which gives the illusion of a raised diamond looking at the piece from a distance.
I compared the pitcher/ewer to a known Dorflinger piece under black lighting. The pitcher/ewer is more yellow.
The third photo shows the beautiful cutting, St. Louis Diamond or honeycomb).
