Title: Milk glass bark vase - probably Oberglass

Did GB do a milk glass version of the tree bark vase? :huh:

No he didn't - at least I've never seen or heard of one.  I did once have a white Ingrid glass type bark vase though.

If its the vase that has been on ebay a sort of milky blue its not W/Fs.

Not the one on eBay - someone on the eBay PGP discussion boards was tying to ID one in milk white. Consensus already is that it is not WF -now the mystery is, who made it? :)

I reckon it's probably German or Austrian (I'm still thinking possibly Ingridglas).

the Ingrid ones are solid milk glass, this one has been watered down, both in design, in quality and in colour - so we're probably looking at Oberglas Austria.

Thanks, Ivo... we had already told her it wasn't Whitefriars - she will be grateful to have an idea of what it actually is. :)
