Title: Any idea on these tall vases?

I have a pair of these, they are 13.5 inches tall and very heavy, they have a rough hole in the bottom of them, gold flecks in the colour. I'm puzzled as to what they are, what do you think? Jill

This the hole in the bottom, from the inside it looks like the glass blower has poked through the base leaving a frilly bit on the inside.
