I have this pair of what I think are end of day glass clogs. Seem to be cased in clear and have clear trailing. Old style but don't look that old. Can anyone advbise are they old, modern, murano etc. Bottroms are clear and polished. Not much shelf ware.Thank you.

I wouldn't call them clogs, shoes or bootees. Clogs are shown here (http://www.ysartglass.com/Vascat/VasD001_009.htm). I think there is a book on glass shoes by Libby Yalom, a US collector who had thousands.

Thanks Frank. I thought boots at first but the turned up toes made me think of clogs! Please excuse spelling in last post. Typing with hands high up at the moment on the wrong height desk.

• It's probably trying to look like one of those 19th century agateware pottery shoes, like this one below.

• My guess would be Italian, Romanian or Chinese based on the colours used and the decoration. Unless someone says it's English. ;D
