Title: Caithness catalogues on Scotlands Glass - 27 weights missing 1969-83

1971 - Spiral - Purple & Red version
1972 - Coral - Blue version
1972 - Coral - Damson version
1972 - Cased Coral - Blue version
1972 - Cased Coral - Orange version
1972 - Tropicana - Pink version
1972 - Tropicana - Purple version
1972 - Jellyfish - Purple version
1972 - Jellyfish - Green version
1972 - Maydance - Purple version
1972 - Maydance - Red version
1974 - Flower in the Rain - Red version
1974 - Flower in the Rain - Blue version
1974 - Flower in the Rain - Purple version
1974 - Space Rose - Sienna version
1974 - Space Rose - White version
1976 - Angler Dome
1976 - Golfing Dome
1976 - Yachting Dome
1978 Myriad - Blue version
1978 Myriad - Green version
1978 Myriad - Purple version
1978 Morning Dew - Green version
1978 Morning Dew - Orange version
1978 Morning Dew - Red version
1978 Morning Dew - Silver version
1978 Morning Dew - Yellow version

Also need 2002 catalogues. to complete 2001-2007. And any catalogues from Summer 83 to 2000.
Adverts and press material is always wanted. Excluding Reflections - all of which are in preparation.

At this time I do not want examples of CG weights, I still have a lot to process. EXCEPT any custom/commissioned weights not yet showing here (http://www.scotlandsglass.co.uk/cms/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=9&Itemid=51).

Post by: johnphilip on June 13, 2008, 02:34:27 PM: Hi Frank i have two Caithness collectors guides they are in ringbinders with imitation leather covers, first one starts Mars planet set 1969 page one and ends Kaleidoscope 1979 page 176 - volume two starts Nucleus 1979 page one and ends Flora 1983 page 195, each page has a large picture most of the page and under the picture when first issued edition size and designer, are these abundant if not would you like to borrow them.i have had them yonks.Spell check tells me it is Cattiness is that after a wee dram.JP.

Those two have been scanned, courtesy Lynne who loaned them and Wolf who scanned them. All of the images are onsite now, it is just the above list which were not illustrated there.

There are 1991 Caithness weights listed, mostly with a single image, but many with multiple examples and images. I have a backlog of a lot more images of actual which will get added in once the catalogues have been done. This way I do not have to try and determine if a weight has already been listed. Front images for each weight will be replaced with the best example in time as many of the catalogue images are poor.

Post by: Martyn K on June 13, 2008, 03:51:43 PM: Hi Frank, you may have to wait a bit for the bigger pics as they're stuck on my old laptop that wont be in action until I can locate a cheap replacement inverter (or I learn to see in the dark) we sold the actual weight a few weeks ago so only had the small resized photos that were left on the ebay listing...sorry, thought I had them backed up but apparently not.

As an alternative I saw another identical one today in a charity shop in New Malden so if someone local wanted to pay £10 for it (which I did'nt) they could buy it tomorrow and take some better pics than mine.....?

Post by: Martyn K on June 13, 2008, 05:04:00 PM: I knew you would say that and did seriously consider buying it, but our one sold for £14.05 which after fees would'nt have left any profit at all, and I did'nt realise till I got home that I did'nt have the original pics on disc. Any south London CG collectors should start queing outside the St Cathrine's Hospice chartity shop in New Malden early (not inspected for damage as it's in a cabinet) It was just the same as ours except without the design centre lable - see below - and slightly different style of mark....still looks pink or cerise to me.
