Hi all,
sorry iys me again, can you tell me, what's your opinion of the item below.
I've bid on it because it's so , "in your face"
Does that make sense, sorry i'm not very good at explaining myself,

That makes LOTS of sense; the body is done in powdered gold so whatever it is, it ain't cheap. The amount of work that went into it is exceptional, and the end result is quite amazing. I would not have it around the house myself, but I'm sure you'll have a wonderful large Seguso? (someone else will confirm this I hope!) if you win it.

Hi,
the piece is nice, well done, also if pretty common. Last time I have seen a very very similar one at Cooperativa Campanella warehouse, in Murano. The price is really interesting. I think that a normal retail price for something like this would be between the 150 and the 300 Euro, so that price (a little more than 50 GBP) is less than an half.
Also the piece looks as a good one (no defects, good colours mix, etc.)
Buy it. I think that up to 100 GBP it can be a good deal.
Ciao

thanks ivo and Alex, that was a really helpful response from you both.
Purely a lucky instinct on my part Alex but I had that price in mind, great info.

Alex, I've spent an hour drooling over the items on your site, stunning works.
I'm going to have to save up for a long time, but maybe 1 day I can have a piece of Murano of that quality.
Great , simply great.
