Cannot make up my mind if the structure is a model on or a real gateway behind the float.
-

Hmmmmmmmm.................... very humid where you are then, Frank??
Or am I missing an image, or something? :-\ :P
-
Let's vote anyway Della. I vote it's a real gateway! :D
Hope I win.

Is it possible, some strange herbal smells, are wafting up from the Amsterdam streets
below Franks window :P

;D ;D ;D
Two bloopers in short order! Humidity is around 150% here.. gasp.

I fink I was right as the 'float' is only two horses wide...sooo...gotta be a real gateway...right?
-
I don't know...the near right corner looks like it sticks out a ways toward the camera. I reckon the whole thing's a float.
-
Float in front of real gateway, methinks.
-
I think this is one optical illusion that will resist analysis, I should have bid on it! I did consider when I first saw it and looked a few times since.
-
This is the float from the glass factory during the wine harvest festival in Bordeaux, so you may safely assume that the structure is on the float - in front of the balustrade of the park where the cortège is held.
-
Looking at the wheels gives a half-decent idea of how wide it is. I reckon there's a bit that juts out to the side of the float near the back, too, making it wider there. I was looking at it with a magnifying glass yesterday. Yay, Ivo and I agree on something!
