Bought at an auction here in Texas. Jar or dish in about 4 inch's wide by 4 1/2 inch's tall. Looks like cut glass and glows brightly under blacklite. Only marking is on the inside bottom of the dish it is REG NO 813664. Can anyone help with identification.

Hi,
not an expert on Redg numbers, but this looks close,
http://www.great-glass.co.uk/glass%20notes/regnos10.htm
Jules Lang and son July 1936 (1 number out)
Someone correct me if im using the info wrong ;)
Cheers
Andy

Close Andy, but not quite right. :) RD No 813664 was registered to Hoskins Rose & Co on 7/7/1936. Hoskins Rose were, like Jules Lang, an importer not a manufacturer. Looking at the design I'd say it was probably made in Czechoslovakia, possibly by Libochovice like other HR registered designs, Marcus may be able to confirm that from his material.

Hi Anne, Andy, Mallorys,
This looks like Libochovice pattern number 1872/115, and was still in production in the 1950s and possibly later.
To be 100%, I would need the first image taken on a white background.
Regards,
Marcus

Clear pressed glass tray.
Looks very ‘Rosice’ to me, but I can’t pin the pattern down.
Am I 'barking up the wrong tree’?
Opinions and ID’s, please?

Close, Fred, right country but it's Libochovice, Czechoslovakia, pattern no. 1874, size 287mm x 253mm. Shown alone in the Libochovice catalogue pre-1958 (Newhall: Sklo Union Art Before Industry) - there is a matching powder bowl #1872 and candlestick #1873.
A set I don't yet have examples or photos of, just catalogue images. :'(

Images will be on the way to you shortly, Anne.
The owner will be delighted with the ID.

Thanks Fred, happy to help. :)

A pretty blue pressed glass trinket set comprising a tray, lidded pot and a pair of candlesticks.
On looking through the Libochovice pre-1958 catalogue onMarcus Newhall’s Sklo Union CD-ROM, the tray seems to match the Libochovice tray 1873, the candlesticks 1874, and the lidded pot 1872 (though it’s difficult to make out the details of the pot lid finial on the photo).
Can other GMB members offer their opinion as to the attribution of this set as Libochovice 1872-1874, please?
I can’t recall having come across a set like it before.
Does anyone have photos of a similar set, or even odd pieces, to share for comparison?
The only other Libochovice 187X series pieces would seem to be 1871 (a smaller oblong tray with a different pattern to the base) and 1874A (a divided hors d’oeuvres tray of similar shape to the 1873 tray, but with a different pattern to the base).

I'd say it's a match, Fred. See another catalogue image below... this is slightly later but I can't find a date for it.
-
Thank you, Anne.
Just the range of colours now, I suppose.

I've only seen clear so far, Fred, but the blue above is super. There must be some other colours about...
I've just realised I don't have this pattern series on GTS, shall have to add them in. :)

Saw this pink 1874 tray in a local BHF charity shop today - sorry about the poor quality of the photo.
(Permission to photograph this tray granted by the manager of the BHF shop, Welshpool).
